Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station, including fueling areas, convenience store shelves, and checkout counters.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and upselling items such as snacks or beverages.
- Conduct basic math calculations for transactions and inventory counts while ensuring proper cash register operation.
- Monitor safety protocols at all times, including proper fuel handling procedures and adherence to health guidelines.




- Assist with merchandising efforts by restocking shelves and organizing products to maximize sales opportunities.

Skills

- Solid communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience, especially in a convenience or gas station environment.
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for assisting customers over the phone or via messaging platforms.
- Organizational skills to keep work areas tidy and inventory well-maintained.
- Experience with merchandising, upselling techniques, and product demos is advantageous.
