The team is committed to helping clients improve member and guest experiences through integrated technology and insightful business intelligence.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a General Accountant for Total e Integrated corporate and our Golf Management Company. The responsibilities/time are split between the two companies, and during Toronto Golf season, the Golf Management company will be approximately 70%, and during off season, the responsibilities are 50/50. Applicants must reside in the GTA (General Toronto Area).

Golf Management Company Responsibilities The General Accountant will assist the Controller to perform day-to-day accounting tasks including but not restricted to:

Accounts Payable: invoice processing, record keeping and reconciliation, vendor management

Payroll: Maintain Employee data, process bi-weekly hourly and salaried payroll,



prepare payroll journal entries, prepare payroll taxes, prepare ROEs. Prepare wage reporting for management. Preparation and remittance of WSIB and EHT.

Operational Support: Daily coordination with property General Managers to review items related to administration, inventory receiving, account queries, and other support.

Bank Reconciliation: Bank, Cash, and Credit Card Account daily reconciliations.

General Accounting Duties: Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries. Assist in preparation and posting of intercompany journal entries.

Financial Statements: Assist in preparation of Company financial statements at year-end and co-ordinate with external auditors.

Corporate Company Responsibilities The General Accountant will assist the Controller to perform day-to-day accounting tasks including but not restricted to:

Accounts Receivable: Assist in the monthly billing process, record keeping and reconciliation.

Credit Card Reconciliation: Credit Card Account weekly reconciliations.

General Accounting Duties: Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries. Assist in preparation and posting of intercompany journal entries.

Financial Statements:



Assist in preparation of Company financial statements at year-end and co-ordinate with external auditors.

Merchant Processor Fees and Expense Reports for preparation of journal entries.

Payroll: Assist Controller with Calendar Year end processes: T2200 and T4 reporting.

General Accountant will substitute for Controller during vacation period. Some additional responsibilities may be required during this time. Accounts Payable invoices and payments.

Qualifications

- Strong general accounting skills, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and revenue recognition processes.
- Ability to work with accounting and ERP software, Microsoft Excel, and other financial analysis tools. Sage Intacct would be an asset.
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic tax, compliance, and audit support practices.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or working toward designation) is an asset.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, hospitality, or club/golf industry environments is beneficial.
