Role Description The Agency Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the insurance agency. This role includes supervising and supporting team members, setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring service standards are consistently met.

Manager will handle complex client inquiries, provide guidance on policy options, and assist with underwriting and claims coordination as needed. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, insurers, and other stakeholders, while implementing processes that support compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

- Strong insurance knowledge, with experience in general insurance products, coverage options, and policy administration.
- Solid finance skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial performance metrics.
- Proven team management abilities, including supervising staff, providing coaching, and supporting performance development.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle complex inquiries and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, suitable for clients, team members, and partners.
- Robust organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with office and insurance management software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Relevant insurance licensing and certifications required or eligible in British Columbia.
- Previous experience in an insurance agency leadership or supervisory role is an asset.
