Role Description The General Laborer role is a full-time, on-site position.

The General

Laborer will assist with log home and wood restoration projects, including surface preparation, media blasting support, staining, chinking, caulking, and cleanup of job sites. Daily tasks may involve loading and unloading materials, operating basic tools and equipment under supervision, and supporting more experienced team members in completing restoration and maintenance work. The role includes maintaining a safe work environment,



following instructions and company procedures, and traveling to various job sites within the service area as needed.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in outdoor conditions.
- Basic skills in using hand tools and power tools, with willingness to learn specialized restoration equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines, worksite protocols, and supervisor instructions.
- Reliable transportation to our shop located in Craighurst, ON, and flexibility to travel to different job locations within Ontario.
- Solid work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work cooperatively as part of a small team.
- Prior experience in construction, painting, woodworking, or exterior maintenance is an asset but not required.
- Comfort working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding, with appropriate safety training provided.
- Working at Heights and WHMIS training are required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates.
