Inventure Engineering & Machinery Inc. is a Barrie-based custom fabrication and machinery shop. We design, build, and repair custom machinery and metal components for a range of industrial clients. We're growing our team and looking for a reliable, organized individual to keep our shipping, receiving, and local delivery operations running smoothly.

Position Overview

We are hiring a General Labourer – Shipping/Receiving & Driver. This role is responsible for local deliveries and pickups, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, and keeping our inventory and tracking system accurate and up to date. A valid driver's licence is required.

Responsibilities

- Perform local deliveries and pickups in a company vehicle
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips/purchase orders
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labelling, and documentation
- Enter shipment, inventory, and delivery information into our system accurately
- Organize and maintain the shipping/receiving area
- Communicate with suppliers, couriers, and customers as needed regarding deliveries
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Assist with general warehouse and shop tasks as needed

Requirements
- Valid driver's licence (G, Ontario)



with a clean driving record
- Own transportation to and from work
- Comfortable with basic computer/data entry tasks
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving, driving, or warehouse work is an asset

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 44.0 per week
