Job Summary

SIL Plastic is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support our day-to-day production and warehouse operations by sorting parts, preparing boxes and packaging materials, organizing inventory, moving skids and materials, and keeping the facility clean and organized.

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, comfortable working on their feet, and willing to take on a variety of tasks throughout the day.

Duties

- Sort, count, inspect, and organize plastic parts and components
- Prepare and assemble boxes, bags, and other packaging materials
- Package finished parts according to company requirements
- Move and organize skids, boxes, bins, and materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload materials and products as required
- Assist with moving materials to and from production machines
- Help prepare materials and supplies needed for daily production
- Keep work areas, production floors, and warehouse spaces clean and organized
- Break down and dispose of cardboard, packaging, and general waste
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and putting away materials
- Stack and organize boxes, bins, and finished products safely
- Help with general warehouse and manufacturing tasks as directed by supervisors




- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work cooperatively with production and warehouse team members to keep operations running efficiently
- Perform other general labour duties as required

Skills & Qualifications

- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable performing physical work and lifting/moving boxes and materials
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail when sorting, counting, and packaging parts
- Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Good organizational skills and ability to keep work areas tidy
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or general labour experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as required
