Role Description The General Lead Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Etobicoke, ON, with flexibility for part-time work from home. In this role, the specialist will follow up on incoming leads, qualify prospects, and schedule consultations for licensed insurance advisors.

Day-to-day tasks include managing lead pipelines, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and coordinating with sales and service teams to ensure timely responses. The specialist will communicate with prospective clients by phone, email, and online channels, providing clear information and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members. Additional responsibilities may include preparing basic documentation, supporting marketing campaigns,



and contributing to process improvements that enhance lead conversion and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including clear phone and email communication and active listening skills.
- Experience with lead management, customer service, or sales support in a professional workplace, ideally within financial services or insurance.
- Proficiency with CRM or lead-tracking tools, basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing), and online communication platforms.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple leads, prioritize tasks, and meet response and follow-up timelines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess lead quality, identify client needs, and route inquiries appropriately.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setting, with the ability to collaborate in-office in Etobicoke, ON and work independently from home.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct when dealing with confidential client information.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is an asset.
- Previous experience in insurance brokerage, banking, or related sectors, and knowledge of personal or commercial insurance products, is an asset.
