As the General Manager you will be responsible of overseeing the growth of Fenestration Business in existing and recent markets. Under the supervision of Vice President of Specialized divisions the incumbent is responsible for setting and achieving sales growth targets and optimizing operational efficiencies in our Fenestration divisions. Candidate may be based in Ontario or Quebec and must be available to travel across both provinces.

Lead the growth, profitability, and operational performance of the Fenestration business across existing and new markets. Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with corporate objectives. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to managers and employees.

Promote accountability, teamwork, employee development, and continuous improvement. Monitor operational performance and implement corrective action plans when required. Improve productivity, service levels, inventory management, and operational efficiency.

Lead sales-growth strategies and identify new customers, markets, products, and business opportunities. Build strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and strategic partners. Maintain overall Profit and Loss responsibility for the business unit.

Develop and manage budgets while monitoring revenues, expenses, margins, and profitability. Review financial results and implement plans to improve business performance. Establish clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.

Address performance and conduct concerns in a timely, fair, and consistent manner. Support employee engagement, retention, recognition, training, and development.



Monitor business performance using KPIs, HighGear, dashboards, and reporting tools.

Promote a customer-focused culture and ensure concerns are resolved promptly and professionally. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and applicable legislation. Lead Lean, continuous-improvement, innovation, automation, and digital-transformation initiatives.

Prepare and present business results, action plans, and growth recommendations to senior leadership. Candidates may be based in Ontario or Quebec and must be available to travel across both provinces. Must be bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written.

College diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Sales, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience will also be considered.

Experience in fenestration, building products, construction materials, or related industry is considered a solid asset. Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing business operations in a distribution environment.

Experience with budgeting, operational planning, and business performance management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).





Experience using CRM systems, ERP systems, and sales performance tools is considered an asset. Must be Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written). Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Proficient in using business systems, dashboards, and sales tools to support data-driven decision-making and business performance. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence Provide strategic leadership and direction to achieve company goals and objectives. Monitoring and promoting the use of High Gear and Dashboards.

Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with Corporate strategies. Building and maintaining staff complements. A college degree in a related field OR any combination of training and/or experience judged to be equivalent will be considered.
