Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB, responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving business growth, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. This role includes leading and coaching the team, managing staffing and scheduling, and maintaining efficient processes across sales, consultations, manufacturing, and installation.

The General

Manager will monitor financial performance, manage budgets, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability. Day-to-day tasks involve optimizing workflows, maintaining quality control, resolving customer escalations, and collaborating with suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery of products. The role also includes contributing to local marketing initiatives, promoting the brand in the community, and continuously improving the customer experience.

- Proven leadership and people management skills, including experience supervising teams and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
- Strong operations management abilities, with experience in process optimization, scheduling, inventory oversight, and quality control.
- Business and financial acumen, including budgeting, sales analysis, and performance tracking to guide strategic decisions.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to handle escalations and maintain long-term client satisfaction.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Experience in retail, home improvement, construction, manufacturing or a related industry is an asset; familiarity with window coverings or interior design is beneficial.
- Comfort using business software and tools for scheduling, CRM, reporting, and basic office applications.
- Post-secondary education in business, management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Edmonton, AB, with flexibility to support peak business hours as needed.
