Responsibilities

- Safely operate various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to transport materials across the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse distribution activities by organizing and stacking inventory accurately
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records in real-time
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct mechanical inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly




- Support the implementation of warehouse safety standards through routine inspections and adherence to procedures

Experience

- Prior experience operating forklifts, heavy duty forklifts highly preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus
- Experience working within a warehouse management system (WMS) or similar software environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and order picking techniques is advantageous

Preference:

- Heavy industry field experience : 1+ year
- Manufacturing industry experience: 1+ year
- Warehouse industry experience: 1+ year
