Overview

We are seeking a motivated Geo technical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) / New Graduate to join our agile engineering team. This field-based position will focus primarily on anchor testing, quality documentation, and engineering field reviews, working closely with Integrity’s project management and site crews. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to innovative solutions that address complex ground and soil challenges, ensuring safety, sustainability, and efficiency across diverse projects.

This paid position is ideal for recent graduates eager to launch their careers in geotechnical and systems engineering within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Duties

- Daily ground anchor testing, including proof, performance, and creep testing, ensuring testing is completed in accordance with project specifications and approved procedures.
- The projects require all anchors to be acceptance tested, with the first two anchors and every tenth anchor receiving performance and creep testing.
- Testing records are required to be completed and submitted daily.

Additional responsibilities will include:

- Completing field reviews of anchor drilling
- Tendon installation
- Grouting and post-grouting
- Stressing and lock-off activities
- Reviewing installation records
- Tracking deficiencies and outstanding items
- Maintaining organized testing and inspection documentation




- And assisting with RFIs, field changes,
- Coordinating with the General Contractor and Engineer.

Qualifications

- Recent graduation with a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Eligible to register as an EIT In British Columbia.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with familiarity in manufacturing or construction environments.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and systems engineering processes.
- Hands-on laboratory experience involving soil testing or mechanical testing equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and documenting technical work clearly.
- Ability to apply math fundamentals to solve engineering problems related to ground systems and structural stability.
