Role Description The Graphic Designer role at Evolve X is a volunteer position based in Vancouver, BC, with a hybrid work model that allows some tasks to be completed from home.

The Graphic

Designer will create visual assets for digital and print materials, including social media graphics, presentations, and marketing collateral that align with Evolve X’s brand.

Responsibilities include designing logos and visual identities, refining typography and layout, and maintaining consistent branding across all communication channels.



The role also involves collaborating with product, marketing, and operations team members, iterating on feedback, and preparing production-ready files and templates. This position offers the prospect to contribute to a mission-driven organization supporting equitable access to career opportunities.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with experience creating visual assets for digital and print channels.
- Ability to develop and refine Logo Design and Branding concepts that support cohesive visual identity systems.
- Proficiency in Typography, including selection, hierarchy, and layout for clear and accessible communication.
- Experience with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar).
- Portfolio demonstrating clean, modern design work and an understanding of brand consistency.
- Attention to detail, ability to incorporate feedback, and comfort working in a collaborative, hybrid environment in Vancouver, BC.
- Interest in workforce innovation, talent development, or mission-driven startups; prior experience in these areas is an asset but not required.
