Graphic Designer & Creative Illustrator - $50,000 – 55,000 Gross Annually - Immediate Full Time - Permanent - On- Site Role

Link Product Solutions Limited is one of Canada's fastest growing and leading suppliers of Seasonal, Stationery and General Merchandise products to independent and major retailers in North America, the Caribbean, Central, and South America. Located in Vaughan, Ont. we operate in a 150,000 sq. ft Office, Distribution and Showroom facility with offsite satellite warehouses to service our retailers' efficiently. Currently, we are recruiting an experienced Graphic Designer/Illustrator with a proven track record in Creative Illustrations & Graphic Design, specifically with a Consumer Packaging and Production background.

Job Summary:

This role will appeal to a results-oriented, Illustrator and Creative Graphic Designer specifically in Product Packaging Designs for Retailers and proficient in digital, traditional artwork; print and packaging designs. ideally an individual who enjoys significant challenge in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Creating creative custom Illustrations/graphic designs for Retailer Product Packaging and production ensuring brand consistency
- Creating and updating product catalogues,



promotional seasonal flyers and other marketing materials
- Supporting the sales and purchasing departments to create and manage designs from concept through to final deliverables
- Working closely with the graphic team to develop branding materials, new design concepts, Illustrations, graphics and layouts
- Designing, illustrating, size, color, interpreting and understanding color palettes
- Creating and developing artwork (digital, illustrative, typography)
- Ensure graphics are properly executed from creative concept to production in accordance with company quality standards
- Presenting graphics at various stages of the design process for review
- Researching market trends for new graphic concepts and sharing ideas with the team
- Photography and editing of sample products as required

Job Qualifications:

- Graphic Design Diploma with 2+ years recent work-related Graphic Designer/ Illustrator and Packaging Designs experience,; specifically with Retailers or Product distributors
- Updated Portfolio and Resume
- Experienced in Creative Illustration with excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Solid understanding of the CPG industry, branding and product development/design
- Strong conceptual and creative design skills




- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign).
- Photography and editing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment with multiple projects and changing priorities
- Understanding the vision of the brand and product direction
- Effective communication of ideas and key information to the team
- Self-confident and resilient to constructive criticism on feedback regarding design work
- Time management and organizational skills to manage priorities and workflow
- Superior attention to details, typography and kerning
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills (English)
