As a Guest Attendantat Chartwell, you’ll provide personal care, assistance, and support to our residents, helping them live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. Your empathy, professionalism, and commitment to excellence will create a warm, supportive environment where residents feel truly at home.

What You’ll Do

- Help residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines like dressing and meals

- Provide support with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal service

- Administer medications and follow individual care plans

- Keep resident areas clean and safe, and follow all health and safety protocols

- Respond to resident and family concerns and report to the Health and Wellness Manager when needed

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services

- Secondary school education; post-secondary training in a care field preferred

- Ability to read, follow, and communicate instructions effectively





- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors’ needs

- Maintain high hygiene standards, work safely with equipment, and manage time well

Additional Requirements

- Ability to work flexible hours as needed

- Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the role

- Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items

- Preparedness to respond to emergency situations

- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required

- Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
