:
- Refocused the role from an analyst developer (intermediate to senior) to senior Guidewire developer, upgrade. Impact analysis is now handled by the developer, rather than a separate role.
- Optimum is preparing to upgrade its on-premise Guidewire InsuranceSuite workplace from version 10.2.2 to 10.2.5 (or higher). (recent at the start of the project), exclusively on PolicyCenter.
- The mandate is for a senior Guidewire developer who has already performed a version upgrade, whether it be a minor version upgrade or a migration to Guidewire Cloud: this developer is responsible for identifying the impacts, incompatibilities, and regression points themselves, without a separate analyst profile adding value to a purely technical migration.
- The upgrade does not deliver new features; the challenge is technical and critical, hence the requirement for concrete version upgrade experience.
- A developer without this experience is only a viable option if paired part-time with a senior developer who has it.
- This role is separate from the DBCC correction,
which is the subject of a second mandate and cannot be carried out simultaneously: the DBCCs are corrected first, then the PolicyCenter version upgrade is performed.
- This should not be confused with a functional analyst, a generic Guidewire profile, or an architect detached from the code.

- Advanced mastery of the PolicyCenter data model
Desired:
- Senior experience, autonomous in identifying impacts and preparing the upgrade
- Ability to produce technical documentation for upgrade preparation
Asset:
