Responsibilities

- Design and conceptualize Halloween-themed props, decorations, and set pieces using digital design tools and traditional sketching methods.
- Build and assemble props utilizing a variety of materials including foam, wood, fabric, plastics, and paint to achieve realistic or fantastical effects.
- Incorporate motion graphics, 3D animation, or visual effects using software such as Adobe After Effects or Maya to enhance the visual impact of displays.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop detailed plans and technical drawings using CAD, SketchUp, or other design software.
- Apply finishing techniques such as construction painting, weathering, and texturing to ensure props are durable and visually compelling.
- Maintain a safe workspace by following construction painting standards and proper handling of tools and materials.
- Stay current with trends in visual arts painting,



graphic design, typography, and fashion design to inspire innovative Halloween displays.

Requirements

- Proven experience in graphic design, visual arts painting, or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing creative projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe After Effects, Maya, SketchUp, or similar digital design tools.
- Skilled in 2D and 3D animation techniques as well as CAD for technical drawings and construction planning.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and experience working with various materials such as foam, plastics, fabric or wood.
- Ability to conceptualize ideas through sketches or digital mockups and translate them into physical props.
- Strong understanding of typography, visual design principles, and aesthetic details that enhance thematic storytelling.
- Excellent craftsmanship skills including construction painting and finishing techniques for durable display pieces.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
