Duties

- Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyles and recommend suitable options based on face shape, hair type, and personal style
- Perform skilled haircuts, coloring, styling, blowouts, and special occasion updos with precision and creativity
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment by following strict sanitation protocols for tools and stations
- Provide outstanding customer service by listening attentively, offering expert advice, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools that complement client needs and enhance their overall experience
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently




- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication skills to encourage repeat visits and referrals

Requirements

- Proven experience in hair styling, haircutting, coloring, or related beauty services
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to connect warmly with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards for tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment
- Excellent communication skills to clearly understand client needs and explain service options
- Ability to upsell retail products in a friendly, non-pushy manner that benefits the client
- Experience managing front desk tasks such as appointment scheduling and cash handling is preferred
- A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by local regulations
