: Working under the direction of the Manager, the Health Educator-Senior will support programming in Family Resources Centers and the larger community.
The Health
Educator-Senior will draw on theoretical and practical expertise to guide approaches using recent research and promising practices of early childhood development including culturally relevant, trauma informed practices.

Educator-Senior ensures that programming is culturally relevant using a trauma-informed lens.
The Health
Educator-Senior collaborates with team members, community partners, program participants and other key stakeholders to translate local data into early learning environments to support quality assurance, program development, and service delivery.

Experience
- Min 2 years' experience implementing facility based early childhood programming
Education
- A post-secondary degree in Education with a focus on early childhood development
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Competencies
- Advanced - Presentation skills
- Advanced - Communication, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Written Communication Skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a broad range of cultures
- Familiar with the principles of population health promotion
- Knowledge in early childhood development practices
- Ability to work flexible schedule
