Contract, Night shift role with a 6 & 1 shift rotation – 12-hour shifts

Length: Sept 1, 2026 – Sept 30, 2026

Wage Range: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

As a Health & Safety Advisor at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by providing H&S; support to the operations/project teams while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.

You will report functionally to the Regional Health & Safety Lead and be accountable for:

- Reviewing job packages and developing an in-depth understanding of content risks and hazards associated with jobs.
- Coaching site teams regarding health and safety standards and best practices
- Conducting health and safety audits on the site; both compliance and program based.
- Participating in the Daily Toolbox Talks, Safety Meetings
- Carrying out health and safety objectives and programs on client sites.
- Evaluating health and safety program effectiveness and making recommendations based on findings.
- Participating in all incident/injury investigations and follow-up meetings.
- Leading/facilitating onsite health and safety training.

A successful candidate would be an individual who has:

- A bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field or equivalent or a combination of a post-secondary degree/diploma and a post graduate certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Completion of CRSP or NCSO designation or actively working towards the designation.
- 5+ years of experience in a Health and Safety role, with preference given to experience in a heavy industrial setting.
- Extensive knowledge and application of environmental health and safety legislation and industry standards.




- Ability to review a variety of sources such as legislation on health and safety standards to become informed of the scope of employee relations cases.

- May be required to work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
- May be required to work outside of normal work hours on occasion to meet deadlines.
- May be required to work shift work on client sites including unusual shift rotations.
