You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance on industrial and heavy equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of equiptment
- Conduct preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics to identify issues with electrical systems in industrial equipment.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all machinery serviced.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble, disassemble,



or replace components on complex mechanical systems while adhering to safety standards.

Experience

- Proven mechanic experience with heavy diesel engines and industrial equipment.
- Hands-on experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, HVAC systems, and farm machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in welding, electrical troubleshooting, schematics interpretation, and the use of hand tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate techniques or equipment.
- Experience in automotive repair alongside industrial maintenance is advantageous.
