We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Duties

- Perform comprehensive inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, loaders, excavators, and industrial machinery.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues accurately.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, belt adjustments, and system calibrations to prevent equipment failures.
- Repair or replace components using welding, mechanical skills, and knowledge of boiler systems when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and service history.
- Work with electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage wiring, and industrial electrician practices to troubleshoot electrical faults.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety standards related to HVAC systems, welding procedures, and other industrial processes.
- Assist in training junior technicians on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or in a similar industrial maintenance role within manufacturing or heavy equipment environments.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing heavy machinery and vehicles.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS platforms, HVAC systems, boilers, welding techniques, and electrical systems including low voltage wiring.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices combined with analysis skills for diagnosing electrical faults efficiently.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while applying mechanical and electrical expertise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork within diverse environments.
