Job Summary
We are a busy, established manufacturing shop specializing in custom oilfield trucks and equipment, including winch tractors, highway haulers, picker trucks, bed trucks, and other specialized equipment.
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Duty Mechanic/Truck & Equipment Technician to join our agile team. In this role, we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has robust mechanical aptitude, and enjoys working on custom equipment where every build can be a little different.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and willing to learn.
Experience with truck electrical systems, hydraulics, mechanical installation, and fabrication/shop equipment is A MUST
DUTIES
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Installing hydraulic systems, including PTOs, pumps, control valves, hydraulic hoses, fittings, tanks, and related components
- Electrical wiring of trucks and equipment, including lighting, accessories, air controls, and miscellaneous electrical components
- Installing finishing components such as stainless steel, aluminum, lighting, decals, accessories, and other custom components
- Cutting and preparing materials using bandsaws, vertical saws, shears, and other shop equipment
- Loading and unloading parts, materials, and equipment
- Operating equipment such as skid steers and loaders
- Completing final detailing and inspection of equipment prior to customer delivery
- Picking up and dropping off parts as required
- Assisting with various mechanical, fabrication, assembly, and finishing tasks throughout the shop
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a robust background in heavy-duty truck Components
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, schematics reading, and hydraulic Installs & repairs
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Experience with Electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Experience using a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Hydraulic experience is a strong asset
- Ability to read instructions, follow specifications, and complete work accurately
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different custom builds
- Ability to safely operate shop and material-handling equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Steel-toed work boots
Journeyman certification is an asset; however, we are willing to consider candidates with strong relevant mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or truck-equipment experience.

We are looking for someone who wants to become a valuable part of our shop and takes pride in seeing a custom truck or piece of equipment go from the shop floor to a finished product ready for the customer. Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
