We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trucks and trailers while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
-Diesel Mechanic experience is considered a strong asset.
-Journeyperson certification is preferred but not required.
-Must have the ability to perform physical/manual labor.
-Strong commitment to workplace safety.
-Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
-Must supply your own hand tools and toolbox.
Responsibilities
-Diagnose, repair, adjust, and replace components on truck and trailer systems, including:
-Electrical systems
-Trailer frames
-Hitches
-Landing gear assemblies
-Suspension systems and components
-Hydraulic systems
-Brake systems
-Engine components
-Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
-Maintain accurate repair records and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
