Position Overview:

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of Heavy Equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnosis and Repairs: Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment
- Routine Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services
- Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain an organized workspace.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our team of mechanics, field members and management to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize fleet performance.
- Equipment Inspections: Review pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with a variety of heavy-duty vehicle systems, including engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Reliable and safety conscious
- Experience in the Heavy Civil Industry is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid Ontario Drivers License - AZ/DZ and asset
