Heavy Equipment Mechanic — Red Seal / CVIP Certified

Edmonton, AB | Motor Coach Fleet – Prevost H3-45

We are seeking an experienced Red Seal–certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic with CVIP certification to join our maintenance team in Edmonton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of our fleet of Prevost H3-45 motor coaches, helping ensure our vehicles remain safe, reliable, and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on motor coaches
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, air brake, suspension, and related vehicle systems
- Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of diesel engine and emission systems
- Complete CVIP inspections and required repairs in accordance with applicable Alberta standards
- Identify defects and recommend necessary repairs or preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate service, repair, and inspection records
- Communicate clearly regarding vehicle condition, required repairs, parts, and maintenance priorities
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard
- Help maintain the safety, reliability,



and availability of the fleet

Requirements
- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician / Mechanic certification – required
- Valid CVIP certification and inspection experience – required
- Experience working on Prevost H3-45 or similar motor coaches is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, electrical systems, and commercial vehicle maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a maintenance team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
