Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Department: Mountain Operations

Reports to: Roads and Slopes Manager and Assistant Manager

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Heavy Equipment Operators are responsible for operating our '950' loaders to clear snow from our parking lots and base area facilities.

THIS POSITION IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

- You are mechanically inclined.
- You can follow directions and work unsupervised.
- You can work in all weather conditions.
- You can work overnight shifts.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:

- Own vehicle required to travel to and from work.
- Reliable, careful, and mature.
- Minimum Class 5 BC License with air brake endorsement, class 3 with Air Brake preferred.
- Previous heavy equipment operation preferred although training can be provided for the right candidate.





TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

- Seasonal position, November through to mid-April.
- Hourly wage $24 - $27.50 per hour depending on experience.
- Complimentary season pass and shuttle bus pass.
