Who We Are

Flair Style Company is a professional home staging company serving Grey County, Southern Georgian Bay and the Bruce Peninsula. For more than 10 years, we’ve helped homeowners and Realtors prepare properties to stand out in the market through pre-listing consultations and thoughtful, strategic styling presentations.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Home Staging Stylist to strengthen our existing styling team. You will bring your own creative eye, experience and perspective while working collaboratively to deliver a styling standard our clients have come to expect. You understand that styling a home for sale is different than decorating for someone's personal taste. Your focus is on creating a presentation that helps potential buyers connect with the property.

This is a physical, hands-on role. A typical day will involve driving (throughout our large service area), loading and unloading your vehicle, and routinely carrying staging accessories in and out of properties. You'll need to be comfortable being on your feet, moving throughout the day and lending a hand wherever needed to ensure both stages and destages get completed.

Design & Staging Direction

- Help develop the overall styling and design direction for staging projects
- Select furniture, accessories, artwork and décor appropriate to the property and style of the home including making decisions about layout, scale, balance, colour and visual flow
- Determine how individual rooms should function and be presented to appeal to potential buyers

On-Site Styling

- Style and layer rooms using furniture, accessories, artwork, soft goods and décor
- Create spaces that feel inviting, current and aspirational while remaining appropriate for the property and market




- Assess the overall presentation of the property and identify anything that needs refinement before completion
- Maintain Flair’s standards for quality, consistency and attention to detail
- Understand how a space needs to feel, recognizing what will appeal to potential buyers and using thoughtful design decisions to create a home that makes a strong impression.

Collaboration

- Work closely with the Operations Manager and other Stylists to communicate and carry out the design direction for each project
- Collaborate with the staging team to ensure each project comes together efficiently and cohesively
- Help mentor and support other team members as the team continues to develop
- Contribute ideas and insight as Flair continues to grow

What We're Looking For Non-negotiables:

- Lives in Meaford, ON where our warehouse is located, or within approximately 10–15 minutes of Meaford. Because the warehouse is the hub of our staging operation, this proximity is a non-negotiable requirement so we cannot review any candidates outside of this area.
- Has access to an SUV or truck capable of transporting staging inventory and supplies between our warehouse and staging properties.
- Physically capable of the hands-on nature of staging, including moving totes and inventory and working efficiently throughout the day.
- Comfortable driving throughout our service area in all four seasons. We service Grey County, Southern Georgian Bay and the entire Bruce Peninsula.

What Will Help You Succeed:

- Naturally creative with a strong sense of style and visual balance




- Confident in making design and styling decisions and enjoy the process of transforming a space
- Able to work independently while also collaborating closely with other Flair Stylists
- Comfortable with performing staging projects under time constraints
- Comfortable meeting and communicating professionally with Realtors and homeowners
- Comfortable working in various home environments including those with pets
- Organized and prepared but also adaptable
- Comfortable with basic technology and using StageForce software (will train)
- Comfortable mounting artwork, mirrors and other wall décor in homes

Hours & Compensation

- This role is primarily scheduled between Wednesdays to Fridays. Scheduling will vary based on our staging workload, so you may not be required each of these days. Flexibility during these days is important.
- Starting wage is $28-$30/hr depending on experience, skills and overall fit.
- Mileage paid for travel from the Flair warehouse to staging and destaging locations and return to the warehouse.
