SEASONAL: Part time, 24 hours per week up to 39.5 hours per week

Hourly Wage Rate

$22.58 per hour

Anticipated Normal Work Schedule

Wednesday – Friday: 6:30pm-11:30pm

Saturday – Sunday: 3:30pm – 9:00pm

NOTE: This schedule is subject to change. Incumbent may be required to work weekends and evening hours.

Summary

Must be able to perform fast accurate customer transactions in a fast-paced environment. May be required to perform a cashier test.

Must be able to keep up with high volume customer demands while maintaining our high standards.

Must successfully complete Second Cup online and practical training.

Perform all duties of any job classification equivalent or lower filling in wherever needed to assist in our excellent customer service requirement.

May assume responsibility for opening and closing of facility.

Maintain the levels of supplies, cleanliness and tidiness of display fridges, merchandisers, counters, walls, shelves, and glass.

Must adhere to Second Cup standards and Hospitality Policies and procedures including the principles of FIFO.

Be responsible for delivering and receiving change from other cashiers.



Prepare accurate reports and maintain accurate records according to policy/procedure.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Understand and deliver good customer service.

Education & Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in fast paced cashier position (requires Cashier Proficiency Test).

Must have good communication, reading, writing and English skills.
