Hatfield is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Administrator to work in our North Vancouver office (hybrid). Reporting to our Manager, Human Resources, this role will focus on processes and procedures, with an eye towards organizational efficiency. You will work alongside our amazing people and culture team to deliver a broad range of services including advantages administration, HRIS systems updates, assisting with day-to-day HR functions, working closely with various departments for employee onboarding and offboarding, providing project support on retention and engagement initiatives, and assisting our managers and employees with day-to-day requests and questions.

Responsibilities

- Assist with a variety of tasks, such as HRIS maintenance, benefits, and leaves administration, drafting offer, promotion, and employment verification letters, onboarding/offboarding, updating policies, and process improvement projects.
- Create HR reports and dashboards and support the tracking of key HR metrics.
- Accurately update employee records in Dayforce, our HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
- Liaise with Payroll and other departments to ensure employee information and changes are updated in our systems.
- Support talent acquisition as needed.




- Support with administrative coordination and other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience
- 1-2 years of HR experience, including benefits and HR systems administration, is required.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Working towards the CPHR designation is ideal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, in particular MS Word, Excel Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Experience with an HRIS, including employee data/back-end management and report generation. Experience with Dayforce is strongly preferred.

- Experience working closely with payroll would be an asset.

Other Assets/Skills

- High degree of analytical skills and the ability to provide sound judgement when problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in AI tools and automations for HR processes
- Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and an ability to think independently and strategically.
- Must have high attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
