Christy Media Solutions is working with a leading global media technology company to recruit an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its Montreal team on an initial 12-month maternity cover contract, with the possibility of extension.

This is a broad, hands-on HR position supporting the North American business, with particular responsibility across Canadian payroll, recruitment, employee relations, benefits and HR compliance.

What you’ll be doing

- Managing Canadian payroll
- Owning recruitment processes from initial brief through to offer and onboarding
- Supporting managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries and employee matters
- Managing onboarding, offboarding and benefits administration
- Ensuring compliance with Quebec and wider Canadian employment legislation
- Supporting wider HR projects, policies and people initiatives





What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a broad HR Generalist, HR Advisor or similar position
- Strong knowledge of Quebec employment and labour legislation
- Hands-on experience managing Canadian payroll
- End-to-end recruitment experience
- Confidence partnering directly with managers across the business
- Experience within a technology, healthcare or corporate environment would be beneficial
- Robust English and French communication skills
- ADP Workforce Now experience would be an advantage

This would suit someone who enjoys having real ownership across the HR function rather than working within a narrowly defined specialism.
