Our team works on a wide variety of residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, geothermal systems, HRVs/ERVs, and indoor air quality equipment. Our work includes both new installations and service/repair, providing an excellent opportunity to develop experience across multiple areas of the HVAC trade.

We are looking for an HVAC Apprentice or Junior HVAC Technician with approximately 1–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience to join our Mississauga-based team.

This is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate should already have practical experience working with residential HVAC equipment, including exposure to refrigeration and gas-fired equipment, while continuing to work and develop their skills under the supervision of experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

- Assist with and perform residential HVAC installations, including:
- Furnaces
- Air conditioners
- Air-source heat pumps
- Geothermal / ground-source heat pumps
- HRVs and ERVs
- Humidifiers and other IAQ equipment
- Assist with service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems
- Work with refrigeration systems, including installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting appropriate to your experience and qualifications
- Work on gas-fired equipment under appropriate supervision and within the scope of your qualifications
- Assist with system start-up, commissioning, and performance testing
- Work alongside experienced HVAC technicians and sheet metal mechanics
- Follow TSSA, ESA, manufacturer, and applicable code requirements
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized job site
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in professional condition




- Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, coworkers, and other trades

Qualifications
- 1–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience
- Previous residential HVAC installation and/or service experience
- Practical experience working with refrigeration systems
- Practical experience working with gas-fired HVAC equipment
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using HVAC tools and test equipment
- Interested in developing stronger service, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Able to work independently on tasks appropriate to your experience and as part of a crew
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence with a clean driving abstract

Licences & Experience The following are considered assets:
- G3 or G2 Gas Technician certificate
- Registered 313D Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic apprentice
- 313D licence
- ODP certificate
- 308R Sheet Metal Worker apprenticeship or experience
- Air-source heat pump experience
- Geothermal / ground-source heat pump experience
- Residential service and diagnostic experience
- Experience with field management software such as Jobber

Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
