Red Seal HVAC/R Technician or 4th-Year Apprentice

Location: Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia

Pay: $43.00–$46.00 per hour, with flexibility for a highly skilled and experienced Red Seal technician

Ready Refrigeration is seeking an experienced Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team. We may also consider a strong 4th-year apprentice who demonstrates the required technical ability, dependability, and commitment to completing their certification.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC/R equipment and systems
- Install HVAC/R equipment and related systems
- Respond to service and emergency calls as required
- Restore equipment and systems to proper operation
- Recommend repairs or equipment replacement when appropriate
- Complete accurate service documentation and job records
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management
- Use company tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly
- Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations

Qualifications
- Red Seal certification as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic preferred




- A skilled registered 4th-year apprentice may be considered
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-service focused
