Job Summary Nexklima Inc. is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The primary responsibility of this position is to attend service calls, preventive maintenance calls, emergency calls, troubleshooting calls, inspections, and repair appointments for commercial and residential customers.

The successful candidate will be experienced in diagnosing HVAC issues, completing repairs, performing preventive maintenance, identifying equipment deficiencies, and communicating professionally with customers. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and providing quality service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Attend service calls, preventive maintenance calls, emergency calls, inspections, troubleshooting calls, and repair appointments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment and systems.
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacement of HVAC components.
- Perform detailed preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
- Service and troubleshoot boilers, RTUs, furnaces, heat pumps, fan coils, air handlers, chillers, pumps, exhaust fans, MUA units, and related HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, gas, controls, and low-voltage systems.
- Test equipment and components to ensure safe and proper operation.




- Identify deficiencies and provide explicit recommendations for repairs or replacement.
- Explain equipment issues, completed repairs, and recommendations to customers in a professional manner.
- Ensure all repairs are properly tested and equipment is operating correctly before leaving the site.
- Complete accurate service reports, maintenance reports, photos, and job documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at customer locations.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory.
- Communicate with Dispatch and Operations regarding job status, parts requirements, follow-up work, and additional repairs.
- Follow all applicable HVAC, gas, electrical, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in company training and technical development.
- Represent Nexklima professionally at all customer locations.
- Follow Nexklima's Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of HVAC service experience preferred.
- G1 or G2 Gas Technician License – required/strong asset depending on position.
- 313A or 313D certification is an asset.
- ODP certification is an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, gas, and control systems.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and service repairs.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency calls.

Physical & Working Environment

- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Frequent ladder, rooftop, lift, and equipment work.
- Ability to work in confined and difficult-access areas.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, standing, climbing, and reaching.
- Use of hand tools, power tools, meters, gauges, and HVAC diagnostic equipment.
- Exposure to mechanical equipment, electrical systems, noise, heat, cold, refrigerants, gas systems, and other job-site conditions.
- Ability to work extended hours when required, including emergency and after-hours service.

Pay: $30.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
