Position Title: RQ00774 - IAM Consultant/Developer

Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)

Mode: Contract

Position Overview

Successful candidate will support the integration of client applications and services with the ONEID IAM platform, with a particular focus on OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth, APIs, system integration, Single Sign-On (SSO), security protocols, and client technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Support client organizations with the technical integration of their applications and services with the ONEID OIDC/OAuth service.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting throughout the client integration lifecycle.
- Create and configure service enrollments for client services.
- Support the promotion of client integrations from test environments to production.
- Develop and execute end-to-end test plans to validate successful integration with ONEID.
- Document the final design, installation, configuration, and integration of each client.
- Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, including:
- Design and architecture documents
- Deployment guides
- Integration guides
- Physical application design documents
- Configuration documentation
- Work collaboratively with Ontario Health networking, infrastructure, application, and other technical teams.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues related to APIs, protocols, network connectivity, firewalls, DNS, TLS/SSL, and authentication.
- Provide regular project and technical status updates to Project Managers and project sponsors.
- Clearly communicate technical issues, potential impacts, and recommended resolution options.




- Support IAM-related development, configuration, testing, deployment, and integration activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful client onboarding and integration.
- Participate in knowledge transfer activities and ensure all required technical documentation is completed and shared with the Ontario Health team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Identity & Access Management

- 2–3 years of Identity & Access Management (IAM) development experience.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, identity management, access management, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts and implementation practices.

OIDC & OAuth

- Very valuable knowledge of OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth protocols.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization flows.
- Experience integrating applications using OIDC/OAuth-based services.

System Integration

- Knowledge of system integration using standard interfaces, APIs, and communication protocols.
- Experience troubleshooting application-to-application integrations.
- Understanding of integration architecture and technical interfaces.

Networking & Security

- Knowledge of network connectivity, including:




- Firewalls
- DNS
- Network communication
- Knowledge of TLS/SSL.
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificates.
- Knowledge of SSO security concepts.

Technical Support

- Experience providing technical support directly to clients/customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical integration issues.
- Ability to explain complex technical problems in a clear and concise manner.

Documentation & Communication

- Ability to produce clear and concise:
- Technical documentation
- Design documents
- Architecture documents
- Deployment guides
- Integration guides
- Application design documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues and recommended solutions effectively.

Preferred / Desired Skills

- Experience with Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite Plus.
- Experience with:
- Oracle Access Manager (OAM)
- Oracle Unified Directory (OUD)
- Oracle Identity Management (OIM)
- Oracle Adaptive Authentication Manager (OAAM)
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Knowledge of SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language).
- Experience with IAM software and identity platforms.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with AWS and/or cloud migration initiatives.
- Experience with OpenShift.
- Public-sector or healthcare-sector experience is preferred.
