BarWell Care is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional in-home care to clients throughout Mississauga. If you are passionate about helping others maintain their independence and quality of life, we would love to hear from you.

As a valued member of our care team, you will provide personalized support to seniors and individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, allowing them to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Responsibilities

Your duties may include

- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction.
- Supporting mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention measures.
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration needs.
- Completing light housekeeping tasks, laundry, and household organization.
- Accompanying clients to appointments or community outings when required.
- Monitoring client wellbeing and communicating concerns to the care team.
- Following individualized care plans while promoting client dignity, choice, and independence.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess

- A recognized Personal Support Worker certificate.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.




- A valid Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Previous caregiving experience in home care, retirement living, hospital, or long-term care settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dependability, professionalism, and a genuine passion for caring for others.
- Access to reliable transportation is considered an asset.
