Hiring Cook for North Indian Restaurant

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes with precision and flair, following established recipes and presentation standards

- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen operations

- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area

- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience

- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or quality issues

- Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations

- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service efficiency

Experience





- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine or similar culinary traditions

- Demonstrated skills in serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a fast-paced setting

- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry

- Prior kitchen experience involving Indian or regional cuisines is highly desirable

- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including meal preparation techniques and customer service expectations

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and presentation standards

Pay: $17.60-$30.09 per hour
