Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive cleaning of industrial spaces, including floors, machinery, workstations, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and locker rooms to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently
- Remove debris, waste, and recyclables from designated areas following proper disposal procedures
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers to optimize cleaning efficiency
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly for resolution




- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and reorder stock as needed to ensure continuous availability

Requirements

- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; enthusiasm for maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness in all cleaning duties
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance record with a proactive attitude toward completing assigned tasks efficiently
