Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaners to join our team. The roles are numerous and have varying working hours, being able to work a shift pattern would be preferable. In these vital roles, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across our facilities, ensuring an efficient and hygienic environment. Your proactive approach will support our commitment to operational excellence and workplace safety.

Duties

- Remove sawdust, broken wood, and other debris to reduce potential hazards associated with routine production operations.
- Perform cleaning of industrial work areas, including floors, machinery, and equipment using appropriate tools and cleaning agents
- Conduct routine commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to maintain a tidy workspace
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment, including locking out and knowing safety procedures
- Cleaning, sweeping and mopping rest rooms,



offices and workspaces
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of cleaning supplies and equipment as needed for various areas of the facility
- Reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly
- Support overall site upkeep by participating in periodic deep cleaning projects when required

Skills

- Able to carry out repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding, must be able to carry 50lbs (22Kgs), repeatedly without assistance
- Working in a demanding industrial environment including working outside in all weather conditions
- Requiring a good level of manual dexterity
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to remain standing and mobile, without assistance for the duration of an 8.5 hour shift
- Ability to work safely on uneven surfaces
- Ability to climb stairs regularly and safely
- Ability to regularly bend, stretch and reach to pick lumber and other debris from the floor
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace

Pay: $22.76-$23.87 per hour Expected hours: 22.0 – 45.0 per week
