Role: IT Risk Management Advisor

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Toronto, ON --- Hybrid

Candidates MUST be located in Toronto, ON / GTA --- This is a HYBRID Role --- 2 days a week work from office

Seniority Level - 10+ Years (Intermediate - Senior)

Required Skills:

- GRC - Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Technology risks (e.g., resilience, availability, change delivery risk, third-party technology dependency, cloud and platform risk, obsolescence, data and systems integrity, and technology governance etc.)
- Technology Risk Management (TRM) framework
- 10+ years of experience in Technology Risk / IT Risk / Technology Controls / Technology Governance, ideally within insurance or broader financial services, with solid knowledge of technology risk management concepts in a regulated environment (e.g., operational resilience, change risk, IT operations, SDLC risk,



platform/infrastructure risk, cloud risk, third-party technology risk, obsolescence, and data/systems integrity).
- Demonstrated ability to design or improve risk frameworks, standards, and methodologies (taxonomy, assessment criteria, aggregation, risk appetite alignment, governance and reporting).
- Familiarity with common industry frameworks: COBIT, ITIL, ISO 31000, NIST, ISO 27001.
- General GRC Tool experience, MS Office suite, Advanced Excel / BI Tools is a plus.
