Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Installer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of various awnings and signage, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our clients and supervising other installers. This position requires at least one year of previous awning/sign installation experience.

The position:

- hours: versatile, but generally, 7:30am to 430pm
- days: Tuesday to Friday
- overtime on occasion, as needed
- collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- using power tools, lifts and ladders to install awnings (retractable and aluminum frame) and signs (channel letters, sign cabinets, pylon signs).
- Repair and trouble shoot motorized retractable awnings
- Replace parts on retractable awnings
- Staple fabric covers onto aluminum awning frames
- Use air hammer to install gimp onto aluminum awning frames
- Program hand held remote controls & instruct clients on their use
- Caulking attachment sites.
- Work at heights, on lifts and ladders
- Drive company vehicles, including bucket truck to various job sites around the Lower Mainland
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeaner with clients and colleagues at all times.
- Ensure all installations meet WSBC safety standards and quality expectations.

Requirements





- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Current class 5 BC driver's license in good standing (driver's abstract required)
- Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs
- One year of awning (& sign) installation experience.
- Comfortable and safe working on ladders

Assets (we will provide training)

- Fall protection certification
- Boom/lift operator certification
- Level 1 First Aid certification
- Forklift operator certification

Benefits/Compensation:
- Full-time wages range from $22-35/hour, commensurate with experience. If the ideal candidate has many years of relevant experience, wages would be negotiable.
