About the Role

Coastal Cold Storage is seeking a detail-oriented, versatile Inventory Control & Warehouse Associate to join our team in Langley, BC. This dual-focused role blends precision inventory management with active floor operations, including order picking, shipping, and receiving. Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Data Integrity

- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy across warehouse operations and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Execute routine cycle counts, physical stock audits, and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, product damage, and labeling errors promptly.
- Enforce First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rotation policies and manage stock replenishment.
- Assist with inventory reporting, tracking shelf life and code dates for fresh and frozen products.
- Optimize storage layout through strategic product slotting and SKU consolidation.

Warehouse & Freight Operations

- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to order specifications.
- Receive inbound freight, verifying physical goods against bills of lading and shipping documentation.
- Process customer returns, inbound restocking, and Over, Short & Damaged (OS&D;) reports.
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers using Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Adhere strictly to cold storage hygiene standards, company safety protocols,



and HACCP food safety regulations.
- Support overall warehouse cleanliness, organization, and inter-departmental workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: Prior experience in inventory control, cold storage, or general warehouse operations preferred. HACCP is an asset
- Systems: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a strong asset.
- Equipment: Experience operating forklifts or other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) preferred (certification an asset).
- Environment: Ability to work comfortably in a temperature-controlled/refrigerated environment.
- Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and a strong work ethic.
- Compliance: Basic understanding of food safety guidelines and proper stock handling procedures.
