Our client, a rapidly growing asset management firm, is seeking a talented Investment Fund Accountant to join their agile team. This role is critical in overseeing fund accounting processes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll work closely with finance, marketing, and operations teams to support the organization’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily NAV review procedures and maintain/reconcile fund schedules, escalating issues as necessary.

- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual fund accounting analytics, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance for a growing family of investment funds.

- Develop and maintain spreadsheet models to analyze and forecast fund performance.





- Communicate with service providers and report on fund matters and investment activities.

- Assist in the preparation of semi-annual and annual fund financial statements.

Qualifications and Competencies

- Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA designation is an asset.

- 3–5 years of fund accounting experience with investment funds.

- Advanced Excel skills;

experience with Power Query and Bloomberg is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
