Job Summary

Busy local rebar company is looking to fill some vacancies with experienced and hard working ironworkers.

Duties

- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
- Dismantle metal, pre-cast concrete or laminated timber buildings and other structures.
- Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.
- Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed.

Experience

- At least 2 to 3 years of proven experience.
- Must speak, read and write English at least at a basic to intermediate level.
- No degree, certificate or diploma is required.
