THE ROLEImagine spending time with a great group of people and sharing your passions. Weare searching for energetic and talented people to take on exciting challenges andcontribute to our community. Our recreation leaders work in multiple fun positions in various locations and programformats ranging from weekly classes to day camps. In each program, you will havethe opportunity to lead activities that help our community members learn new skillsand make social connections. You will be working mainly with (preschoolers, children, youth, adults and seniors) inthis position. You will be leading (arts and crafts, fitness and wellness, performing arts, sports andoutdoor adventure) activities.You will get experience designing recreational programs,

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma(OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also beconsidered) Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications A valid driver’s license (Province), an asset HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development or HIGH FIVE Sport (successfulcompletion by end of probation) HIGH FIVE Healthy Minds for Healthy Children (successful completion by end ofprobation) Experience In working with children In programming activities for children In leading children in activities In ensuring safety protocols and proceduresCompetencies Clientfocus,organizationalknowledge,communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
