IT Launch Canada Lead Project Manager provides technical and project leadership for IT activities that support Product Launch projects at manufacturing facilities in Canada. This position is responsible for coordinating all IT activities for the Canadian Product Launch Programs, managing one or more Project Managers, and serving as the interface between IT and the Business.These projects and programs require a fully dedicated project manager due to the level of complexity, intricate detail, and accountability to senior leadership. Projects typically last 2 years or longer and involve a diverse set of stakeholders, vendor participation, complex schedules, and significant integration with other systems.This position leads status meetings with the project team, presents the project’s status to management and directors, implements consistent processes across project teams, and develops and maintains project documentation (schedule, log, meeting minutes, lessons learned). It also facilitates meetings with business partners to resolve complex problems and review project updates.The IT Launch Canada Lead Project Manager works independently while reporting to the North America Launch IT Manager.
