Job#: 3047032 : Our client is seeking an IT Specialist to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will serve as the frontline resource for day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting, and systems administration across the organization.

You will assist end users with technical issues, help manage IT infrastructure, and ensure the smooth operation of core systems and applications. The IT Specialist will work closely with the Senior IT Engineer and IT Manager to resolve escalated issues and contribute to ongoing system improvements.

Objectives and Key Results A successful IT Specialist will have experience and proficiency with…

- Asset Management
- Procure, provision, and re-provision Windows and macOS laptops, printers, scanners, and IoT devices.
- Deliver a fully managed and compliant device within 2 hours, including firmware, OS/security updates, management agents, compliance policies, and role-based applications.
- Maintain efficiency when provisioning multiple devices concurrently and support remote “out-of-box” employee onboarding.
- Device & Configuration Management
- Deploy and administer MDM solutions (JumpCloud, Jamf, Intune) in a multi-platform environment.
- Author, assign, and troubleshoot device compliance/security policies; identify and resolve policy conflicts.
- Identity & Access Management
- Support account lifecycle management, groups, and licenses in Azure AD and/or JumpCloud.
- Configure MFA and Single Sign-On (SAMLv2) for SaaS applications.
- Understand authentication tokens (unique IDs, attributes, validity periods) and their use in granting resource access.
- Office 365 Suite Administration
- Administer Exchange, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Configure mailboxes, delegation, forwarding, and rules.
- Create SharePoint sites and document libraries with proper permissions.




- Troubleshoot common mailbox/calendar issues (e.g., stale OAB, corrupted cache, NDR errors).
- Network & Security Support
- Troubleshoot office networking with Cisco Meraki appliances, switches, and wireless APs.
- Review and maintain accounts, passwords, firmware, audit logs, and policies consistent with FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements.
- Diagnose connectivity issues across OSI layers and explain traffic flow from endpoint to ISP.
- Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing
- Conduct quarterly process/tool reviews; share FAQs, phishing/SPAM mitigation tips, and productivity guidance.
- Coach teammates to use IT services securely and effectively.
- Service & Vendor Management
- Maintain vendor relationships and enforce SLAs.
- Prepare efficient service requests by gathering necessary context before escalation.
- Cybersecurity Competency
- Apply secure IT practices aligned with CJIS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC-2 and/or NIST 800-53 frameworks.
- Ensure endpoints, accounts, and services meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
