Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct routine residential & commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal to uphold high standards of hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, break rooms, and other shared spaces to promote a healthy work environment as well as living spaces
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs, restocking supplies, and reporting repairs needed
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a secure workspace for yourself and others
- Use specialized cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to environmental and safety guidelines
- Support periodic deep cleaning projects and special sanitation efforts as scheduled or required
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services within residential or commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of residential & commercial cleaning techniques and best practices for facilities maintenance
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in all cleaning tasks
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly
- A proactive attitude toward maintaining a clean environment that supports health and safety standards
