We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Server to join our authentic Japanese restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and a robust background in hospitality. Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS or similar systems
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operation
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables,



and service stations in compliance with health regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a server in a restaurant environment, preferably within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order accuracy
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen support is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine or cultural nuances is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work efficiently during busy shifts
