Job Opportunity: Java Developer (Database)

Location: Montreal

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

You will join a team specialized in risk management and operational surveillance technologies. You will contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen the resilience of a major organization through advanced analytics and monitoring solutions.

Your mission (should you choose to accept it!):

Design, develop, and enhance Java applications and data processing solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Participate in software analysis, design, and development activities
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and DevOps teams
- Develop and maintain applications within the Java ecosystem
- Design and optimize data processing solutions on Big Data platforms
- Improve CI/CD processes and test automation practices
- Ensure application quality, performance, and stability
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle within Agile teams

Your future team:

You will work within a multidisciplinary team composed of developers, analysts, DevOps specialists, and business stakeholders.

Your Tech Stack:

- Java
- Apache Spark
- SQL Server, PostgreSQL and DB2
- DevOps CI/CD
- Spring Boot
- Azure
- Python
- Docker or Podman

Your profile:

- Minimum 5 years of software development experience
- Proven experience within the Java ecosystem
- Experience with Apache Spark or Big Data platforms




- Strong knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and the full SDLC
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD automation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of Scala, Angular, or React is considered an asset
