Role Description The Job Title role at Agropur is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area. The person in this role will support daily operations by coordinating activities within their department, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities may include data entry and analysis, preparing reports, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining documentation in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The role also involves communicating clearly with colleagues and stakeholders, identifying issues,
and contributing to practical solutions that enhance productivity, safety, and product quality. This position requires a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing or corporate environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; French language skills are an asset in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area.
- Comfort with data entry, basic data analysis, and use of common office software (e.g., MS Office suite, email, and collaboration tools).
- Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, build positive working relationships, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technologies.
- Relevant education such as a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, operations, administration, or equivalent experience).
- Experience in the food, dairy, or manufacturing sector is an asset, as is familiarity with cooperative or unionized work environments.
